Powered by nothing more than solar energy - Moonlight Markers are the perfect way to 'signpost' a path - drive or garden hazards such as steps. Through the daylight hours the efficient solar cells store enough energy in the longlife NiCad battery to give up to 8 hours' night-time illumination from the LED in each unit - automatically turned on by a sensor as dusk falls. The light created is a pleasantly gentle amber glow - bright enough to mark out paths and obstacles in pitch darkness. Unit can be wall-mounted or simply spiked into the ground; no wiring or maintenance is required and there are no running costs. Approx 30cm (12") high - including spike.
