This is a gem of a game from the masters of the quality product The Early Learning Centre. They even spell center correctly to.

[CDE tapped]

The game is aimed at 4 to 7 year olds. The package consists of

  • A Cork Board
  • Wooden Shapes In Different Colours And Shapes All With Central Holes
  • Pins
  • A Hammer

The idea is simple you build designs from the wooded shapes and fasten them to the cork board with the pins.

See (poor) the example of the old Delta Estuary logo on the left.

What amazes me most is the fact the pins are sharp and the hammer hits hard yet injuries are minimal even for 4 year olds. They are mostly vacuum cleaner fan belt related.

This proves something - doesn't it just
